Guided Walks in the Lake District

Guided Walk overlooking Buttermere

Is there a route or mountain that you have always wanted to try or do you wish that you knew more about the countryside you were passing through? Come on one of our walks and we can guide you up a mountain you did not think you could reach and hopefully share some of our love of the Lake District with you. All of our walking guides are qualified Mountain Leaders and offer a fun, relaxing day out in beautiful countryside.

Personalised Guided Walks

At any time of year we can offer you your own personal guide for the Lake District fells. Tell us which mountain you would like to climb or let us plan a walk just to suit you. We can make it your biggest challenge of the year or we can show you some of the easiest ways to get the best views.

More about Hill Walking

If you want to find out more about the skills you need to keep you safe in the Lake District hills then we can highly recommend "Hill Walking" by Steve Long - the official handbook of the Mountain Leader scheme.  It is written with instructors in mind but is a colourful, modern guide to hill walking that is useful for anyone who ventures out into the countryside.

There is more information about hill walking on our navigation page or if you have any specific questions please do not hesitate to contact us - we are always happy to help.
