Classic Lake District Peaks
Two or five days of guided walks to conquer some of the classic peaks of
the Lake District. Have you always wanted to climb England's
highest mountain, Scafell Pike or perhaps get to the top of Wainwright's
favourite, Haystacks? This course gives you the chance to explore
the highest parts of the Lake District without having to worry about
getting lost.

Course Content
You will need to be comfortable walking for 7 to 8 hours each day but we
will not be racing up so please do not think that you need to be extremely
fit for one of these courses.
Some examples of fells we might include on these courses are Scafell Pike,
Helvellyn, Blencathra, Skiddaw and Great Gable but there are many, many
more. This is a walking course so we will not be taking the scrambling
routes up any of these mountains.
Each course is different and designed to suit the participants but we will certainly show you some fantastic views, spot plenty of local flora and fauna and give you a great idea of just what the Lake District has to offer.
If there are any particular hills you would really like to climb just let us
know and we will do our best to fit them in.
Useful Information
You will need to bring:
Enough clothes to keep warm and dry in all weathers (jeans are not suitable for outdoor activities).
Hat and gloves.
Waterproof jacket and trousers.
Lunch and drinks. Plenty of snacks are a good idea to keep your energy levels up all day.
Walking boots or shoes.
Head torch.
A rucksack with a waterproof liner (e.g. plastic bag)

There will be no more than six participants per instructor.
Accommodation is not included.
